As you may be aware there is a positive case of COVID-19 in the Shepparton Community. There are NO cases in any of Shepparton Villages’ Aged Care Homes. As a precautionary measure, visits to all Shepparton Villages Residential Aged Care Facilities are suspended until further notice.
We appreciate this is very short notice and we do apologise. However, given the nature of the current situation we want to ensure our residents remain safe. As you know, things can change very quickly, and should there be any further changes we will let you know as soon as possible. We will review the situation continually and we will reopen as soon as we believe it is safe to do so.
Specifically, the following visitor restrictions to Shepparton Villages care facilities will only allow the following categories of visitors:
There are exemptions for end-of-life purposes that can be discussed with the Care Facility by calling them on the numbers listed below. We respectfully ask you to please utilise the numbers provided below for your inquiries.
Residents are still able to leave care facilities for essential purposes and outings in line with current restrictions. COVID precautions must be adhered to whilst in the community.
During this difficult time, we encourage you to maintain contact with your loved one via phone or Zoom. If you would like to book a Zoom call, please call the facility during office hours and they will assist you to set up a time suitable for all, understanding our first priority is the safe care of residents.
