We wanted to update you on our new booking system for visits to our Residential Aged Care facilities.
Please note, there has been no change to the visitor directives; that is, visits are still restricted to two visitors at a time (capped at 5 visitors) per day, permitted between the hours of 10am and 7pm each day.
However, what has changed is the way in which bookings can be made, and the need for all visitors to check in utilising the supplied QR codes. This is a mandatory requirement. We ask for your patience and adherence to this system as it streamlines the process for all, especially our staff.
As of Thursday July 1, 2021, all bookings for visits can be made online through our online booking system, Zipline.
Zipline can be accessed on your phone, computer or iPad by entering the following web address into the browser:
Follow the prompts to book your visit. You will be prompted for details, such as who you are visiting and a list of available timeslots.
Once pre-booked, on arrival at the facility, you must then check-in using the Zipline device at the entry to the facility. This process will confirm your booking, take your temperature, and will ask you to scan the QR code on the screen using your mobile phone. All visitors who pass through the temperature checking and screening process, must wear a mask and follow hand hygiene on entry.
Those who do not have a mobile phone, can ask for assistance from the Door Monitors who will be in place from 10 am to 6pm daily.
If you are unable to make a booking online, you can call the following numbers at each facility between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday, and they will make the booking on your behalf. We ask for your patience with this process as our staff are often juggling multiple calls. To avoid frustration, the easiest way is to make your booking online.
Please note, walk in or unannounced visits will not be admitted unless a pre-booking has been made.
There is no restriction on time, however in the interests of being fair to others who may wish to visit your loved one (remembering the allowance is up to 5 visitors a day, capped at two at a time), we are asking you to coordinate your visits with other family members to avoid any disappointment.
Please try to avoid mealtimes as all visits are to be conducted in the resident’s rooms – no visitors are permitted in the dining areas or other public areas at any time.
The external situation in all states is constantly changing and we will be monitoring any restrictions as a result of the outbreaks in other states. If there are any changes to the current situation, or visitor restrictions, we will inform you.
Exceptional circumstances for end-of-life purposes can be discussed directly with the Care Manager at your facility. Emergency end of life visits and arrangements outside of these times can be co-ordinated and discussed with the After-Hours Coordinator on 0457 320 828. This phone will not be active during office hours and is only for emergency after hours inquiries.
Please note, all other inquiries should be directed to the Care Manager during office hours.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.
