In accordance with the latest state government restrictions for visiting aged care facilities in regional Victoria, as of 11.59 pm tonight, Thursday June 24, 2021, limited visitors are permitted into Shepparton Villages residential care facilities on a strictly managed and pre-booked basis.
This applies to all residential facilities, except for Banksia Lodge which is currently in lockdown as a result of a gastroenteritis outbreak (considered when there are 3 or more residents with symptoms), and visits are not permitted at Banksia Lodge until further notice. When this situation changes, we will contact you to advise of visiting arrangements for Banksia Lodge.
Please read the following very carefully to understand the process that will apply until Friday, July 2, 2021, when we will communicate with you again, given we are in the process of implementing a new online booking system for your use. This system will streamline visitor bookings. We will continue to offer telephone bookings for those who prefer this method of communication.
We ask all visitors to be aware of the current New South Wales hot spots and other declared areas as the external situation is being closely monitored and can change rapidly at a moment’s notice.
If there are any changes to the current situation, or visitor restrictions, we will inform you.
Exceptional circumstances for end-of-life purposes can be discussed directly with the Care Manager at your facility. Emergency end of life visits and arrangements outside of these times can be co-ordinated and discussed with the After Hours Coordinator on 0457 320 828. This phone will not be active during office hours and is only for emergency after hours inquiries.
Please note, all other inquiries should be directed to the Care Manager during office hours.
Please understand this is an evolving situation, and aged care providers are being asked to constantly change and resource the government directives, often with little notice. We are doing our very best and we ask for your patience and respect for our staff.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.
