In line with the hard lock down in Victoria called by the State Government, effective as of 11.59pm tonight, Thursday July 15, 2021, all visits to Shepparton Villages Residential Aged Care facilities will be suspended until further notice.
The hard lockdown will last for five days until 11.59pm next Tuesday, July 20 – however we all know things can change rapidly and we will be monitoring the situation carefully. If there is any change, we will advise you.
We appreciate it is short notice, and as the Premier said this afternoon, it is a half-hour by half-hour situation. As is often the case, different levels of restrictions apply to aged care residential homes and we want to assure you that we are complying with directives and our prime focus is keeping our residents and staff safe.
Exceptional circumstances for end-of-life purposes can be discussed directly with the Care Manager at your facility during office hours, and emergency end of life visits and arrangements outside of these times can be co-ordinated and discussed with the After-Hours Coordinator on 0457 320 828. This phone will not be active during office hours and is only for emergency after hours inquiries.
As soon as we are able to open up to visitors again, we will advise you.
Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe.
