Banksia Lodge is a 65 bed Residential Aged Care Facility providing “Ageing in Place” accommodation for 62 residents and also two residents receiving respite care. The building has been designed to meet the ongoing care needs of residents who require low or high care. It is designed to enable residents to maximise their independence and reflects the cornerstone of everyday practice namely dignity, respect, privacy and choice.
Accommodation at Banksia Lodge consists of single rooms with en-suites, providing total comfort in delightfully tasteful surroundings and includes four themed garden courtyards providing a tranquil outdoor space for our residents to relax and enjoy the company of other residents and family members.
In addition to three main meals, morning, afternoon tea and supper are provided to residents in the dining rooms.

Each unit has natural lighting and is beautifully appointed with a bright modern kitchen and roomy bathroom. Quality floor coverings and window furnishings are supplied and a specially selected colour scheme makes for a pleasant and restful ambience.
To gain occupancy to one of our units, a resident purchases a "licence to reside" by way of a loan to Shepparton Villages. Some of the loan is retained by Shepparton Villages. Details are available from Shepparton Villages Administration.
Who may apply for Accommodation?
If you are of retirement age and have an association with the Greater Shepparton area, you will be eligible to apply for accommodation.
Independent Living Unit Maintenance Fee
A maintenance fee based on village outgoings applies to all units. This fee covers such items as rates, building insurance, internal and external maintenance, gardens and grounds and administration.
