Service award certificates were handed out to 64 staff who served Shepparton Villages and passed milestones of 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years and 30 years last Monday.
The importance of staff to the organisation was highlighted this week with Tarcoola being threatened by floods from the Goulburn River. Some staff came into work at midnight on Tuesday — when the water was expected to hit its peak — while others were bringing in spare clothes in case they had to stay overnight.
Shepparton Villages chief executive officer Kevin Bertram said it was a reflection of their commitment.
"That's a measure of their dedication," he said. "It's very rewarding in an industry or working in an environment where you can make such a huge difference to the quality of life of residences."
