Shepparton Villages

Santa‘s many helpers did a wonderful job during our Christmas Appeal. Proceeds from the 2009 Christmas Appeal brought us closer to our target for our ‘Bus appeal’, contributing a further $19,525.

We thought we were being optimistic when, in June, we asked our supporters to help us purchase a new, purpose-built bus for our residents, but we were astounded at the numbers of donors and the level of support. We received over $38,000. Thank you to all who showed supported this year's Pre-tax Appeal. Your donations have helped immensely in this the first stage of the fund raising.

The landmark, 36 year old Banksia Lodge building at Tarcoola Village is soon to be demolished. To celebrate the end of an era and make way for the workmen to commence, we held a Pre Demolition Clearing Sale on October 24th. Approximately $15,000 was raised on the day, adding to our fund to buy a new bus for Shepparton Villages' rapidly expanding number of residents.
