Update: Mercedes Buses x 2 - Delivery Date
The saga of the new Mercedes buses continues and to keep you in the picture we can report that the first bus is being modifed as you read this. The good news is that it will be in use and ready for the Christmas lights tour.
The seat combination, for a driver, 10 Residents and a carer, or a driver, eight Residents, a carer and a wheelchair is being installed. It will have an automatic special lifter, a sidestep, comfortable and supportive seating, the most up to date air-conditioning and sun refecting tinted windows.
Once the second bus is here and similarly ftted, we can place a bus at every Village so that rotations can be easily made to suit excursion numbers.
We thank you all once more for your support and interest in this important project.

Shepparton Villages has enjoyed the wonderful support of the community in raising money for two much needed buses.
The Board resolved to allocate fundraising over a two year period to purchase a specially modifed bus for residents' outings and enjoyment.
Many generous individuals, businesses and philanthropic trusts saw our need and responded positively to our overtures so that after 12 months we have reached our journey's end.
